The admissions process at George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School is very competitive and highly selective due to the volume of applications and the limited number of seats in the entering class. Members of the Admissions Committee review and consider each application for admission in its entirety. Other factors that are considered include difficulty of undergraduate major, undergraduate institution, possession of advanced degrees, writing ability as indicated in the personal statement and Mason statement , recommendations, extracurricular activities, employment experience, demonstrated commitment to public and community service, leadership skills, history of overcoming personal or professional challenges and other academic, personal and professional achievements. The criteria for admission to Flex JD, the part-time, evening program are the same as for admission to the full-time, day program.

Please follow the directions carefully and include the requested information in the spaces provided. You may also upload various attachments to your application as outlined in the attachment section of the application. Please note that if any one of the attachments outlined does not apply to you, please check the box within each section that says "this does not apply to me. Scores for both exams are valid for five years. The CAS report summarizes undergraduate academic work and includes copies of your transcripts. Applicants who completed any post-secondary work outside of the United States including its territories or Canada, must use this service for the evaluation of foreign transcripts. The one exception to this requirement is foreign work completed through a study abroad, consortium, or exchange program sponsored by a US or Canadian institution, and where the work is clearly indicated as such on the home campus transcript.
Applying to Boston University Law School
Fall applications open on September 1, and will remain open until July 15, Early Decision applications open on September 1, and will remain open until January 15, Obtain transcripts of all previous college or university study and submit through CAS. Obtain letters of recommendation and submit through the CAS.
