Erskine A. Peters Dissertation Year Fellowship at Notre Dame - SSD-fellowships
Learn about us. The Office of the Provost, which funds the Fellowship, decided to terminate the program. The Office did not give a specific reason for its decision, however, the program was not endowed and was funded strictly on a year-to-year basis, Erskine Peters coordinator Maria McKenna said. The F ellowship, which funded two to four African-American graduate students for a year to finish their dissertations through the Office of the Provost and other funds, has seen 47 fellows in its year run, she said. Richard Pierce, chair of the Africana Studies department and one of the founders of the fellowship program, said the F ellowship brought remarkable individuals to campus. To have this program and to be part of that process with these fellows is good. I get to see the best parts of the students.
Ivette Bernal, 24, Georgetown Of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I got an assignment for a book review, and I decided to try Essayforme. The main problem was that the remaining deadline was 12 hours (yeah, I wasted too much time), and the book at my surprise had 250 pages. Physically, it was not possible for me to do it, and I did not want a failing grade. I contacted support asking whether they have an expert in Economics (that is the subject I major in and had an assignment on). They took a couple of minutes to check and confirmed that there is an available expert for me. Later I double checked with the writer whether he had read the book I needed, and he confirmed. That was just great, he did it even faster, so I had time to check and left all my worries behind. I liked the experience, will try again the next time.

From the very beginning, Notre Dame has wedded higher education and a mission of social justice. It gives me great pleasure to announce the Notre Dame Initiative on Race and Resilience, an initiative focused on the redress of systemic racism and the support of communities of color both within and beyond the Notre Dame campus. You may ask why an initiative instead of a center and an institute? Therefore, the Initiative on Race will provide a space — physical, intellectual, and emotional — in which students, scholars, artists, and activists gather to develop their respective projects, exchange ideas, and support one another.
